Xryma Plc Announces Resignation of Two Independent Directors

Xryma Plc, a regulated banking technology group operating under the name ISX Financial, has announced the resignation of two independent non-executive directors, Christakis Taoushanis and Adonis Pegasiou. Both departures are effective as of September 30, 2026.

Christakis Taoushanis, who had served on the board for nearly ten years and chaired it since the company's initial regulatory approval, cited compliance with Cyprus Central Bank (CBC) policies as the reason for his resignation. CBC regulations deem directors who have served over 10 years as non-independent. Additionally, CBC requires a majority of independent non-executive directors on the board.

Adonis Pegasiou resigned after more than four years of service. His full-time role as Academic Director at the European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF) requires significant time and attention. As Xryma Plc's operations have grown in complexity, Pegasiou determined that he could not dedicate the necessary time to fulfill his board responsibilities to the required standards.

Group CEO Nikogiannis Karantzis expressed gratitude for both directors' contributions to the company's development and wished them well in their future endeavors. Xryma Plc is a regulated banking technology firm providing cross-border open banking, international transactional, and real-time payment services within the EU and the UK.
