Xryma Plc: Two Independent Directors Resign

Nicosia, Cyprus – Xryma Plc, a regulated banktech group, announced that two of its independent non-executive directors, Christakis Taoushanis and Adonis Pegasiou, have resigned from the board, effective September 30, 2026.

Christakis Taoushanis, who had served for nearly 10 years and chaired the board since the company first received its Electronic Money Institution license from the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC), resigned due to CBC governance policies. These policies deem directors serving more than 10 years as non-independent. During his tenure, Taoushanis oversaw a demerger, seven years of continuous profits, and preparations for listing on Euronext Paris.

Adonis Pegasiou's resignation was attributed to increased professional commitments as Academic Director at the European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF). Pegasiou, who joined the board in June 2022, cited that his other professional duties required more time and attention, which could compromise his ability to fulfill his responsibilities at Xryma Plc.

Xryma Plc, operating as ISX Financial®, is a banktech group authorized by the Central Bank of Cyprus and the UK Financial Conduct Authority. The company provides cross-border open banking, international transactional banking, and real-time payment services in the EU and UK. It is also one of the first non-bank direct participants in the Eurosystem's T2 settlement system.
