Xunlei discounts super membership tiers for 11.11 sales event
Chinese tech firm Xunlei has adjusted the pricing of its subscription services as part of the 11.11 shopping season.
Xunlei has introduced promotional pricing for its super membership subscription during the 11.11 sales period. A 30-month subscription is now available for 298 yuan, reducing the effective monthly cost to approximately 9.93 yuan. This represents a reduction from the standard annual rate, which typically costs 264 yuan, or 22 yuan per month.
The super membership tier provides additional features over the standard service, including 12 terabytes of cloud storage and accelerated download speeds. Subscribers also gain access to 1080p and original-quality cloud video playback, as well as the ability to extract compressed files up to 32 gigabytes directly within the cloud interface.
The campaign coincides with the annual 11.11 shopping festival in China. By offering these tiered discounts, the company aims to convert users to its premium cloud storage and download acceleration services amid ongoing competition in the digital infrastructure market.
