Y Combinator Appoints Christopher Golda and Grey Baker as General Partners

Y Combinator, the startup accelerator, has appointed Christopher Golda and Grey Baker as General Partners. Both individuals have previously contributed to the firm as Visiting Partners, working closely with founders across multiple cohorts.

In their new roles as General Partners, Golda and Baker will increase their involvement in selecting, advising, and supporting the startups backed by Y Combinator. They will work directly with founders throughout the lifecycle of their companies.

Christopher Golda brings experience from founding BackType, a data infrastructure company acquired by Twitter. At Twitter, he led product development for the Ad Center, growing revenue to over $1 billion. He has also invested in and advised early-stage companies like Benchling, Coinbase, and Supabase.

Grey Baker co-founded Dependabot, a developer tool that was acquired by GitHub. He was also an early employee at GoCardless, where he led product and engineering during the company's scaling phase. Baker also co-founded Pincites, which was acquired by Filevine.
