Yahoo Weather App Updated with Enhanced Radar and Minute-Level Forecasts
Yahoo has updated its Yahoo Weather app for iOS and Android, introducing a redesigned interface with enhanced radar, interactive maps, and minute-level precipitation forecasts.

Yahoo announced on July 30 that it has updated its Yahoo Weather application for iOS and Android platforms. The update includes a redesigned interface, enhanced radar capabilities, interactive maps, and minute-level precipitation forecasts.
The application's user interface has been re-engineered to better serve users' needs for checking weather and planning schedules. The new version offers more intelligent forecasts and richer weather information.
New features include daily weather narratives to provide context for weather changes, along with per-minute precipitation forecasts and personalized notifications.
The app offers more responsive maps and radar charts, along with future radar projections. Users can track weather changes for multiple saved locations and receive alerts for severe weather conditions via customizable widgets.
Beyond basic forecasts, the app expands its information to include air quality, pollen, UV index, wind, humidity, visibility, and moon phases to supplement current and future weather conditions.
