Yeelight Launches M4 Smart Panel Light with Presence Detection

Yeelight has introduced its M4 series of smart panel lights, which utilize full-spectrum illumination and human presence detection, to the Xiaomi Youpin platform. The new lighting fixtures are designed to automatically turn on when a person enters a space and off when they leave, with prices starting at 109 yuan.

The M4 series is available in two sizes: 30x30 cm and 30x60 cm. The 24W model is suitable for rooms ranging from 8 to 12 square meters and is priced at 109 yuan. A higher-powered 36W version, designed for spaces between 12 and 18 square meters, costs 149 yuan.

Constructed with an integrated plastic body and a slim 2mm bezel, the panel lights meet IP54 dust and water resistance standards. They feature a built-in 24 GHz radar and a light sensor, providing a detection range of up to 10 meters from a mounting height of 2.5 meters. Yeelight states the system can accurately capture subtle human movements and employs AI for environmental adaptation to minimize false triggers.

The panel lights are equipped with a Bluetooth Mesh 2.0 module and use a full-spectrum light source delivering up to 2500 lumens with a color rendering index (CRI) of Ra98. They comply with RG0 low-blue light standards and are flicker-free. The color temperature is adjustable from 2700K to 6000K, simulating natural daylight cycles.
