YeePay has officially been granted an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license by De Nederlandsche Bank, the Dutch central bank. This authorization marks a significant step in YeePay's European expansion, leveraging the Netherlands' position as a major financial hub within the European Union.
The license enables YeePay to provide localized and compliant payment services to businesses operating in international markets. The company stated that this further solidifies its regulatory presence in Europe. Earlier this year, YeePay also secured an EMI license in the United Kingdom.
According to the company, its payment services cover over 200 countries and regions, with real-time currency exchange capabilities across more than 100 currencies. YeePay aims to offer businesses a unified payment solution for cross-border commerce.
The company continues to invest in fintech and regulated infrastructure, seeking to make cross-border payments simpler and more efficient for internationally expanding businesses.
