YeePay Secures Electronic Money Institution License in the Netherlands

YeePay has officially received an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license from De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), the central bank of the Netherlands. This authorization marks a significant step in YeePay's European expansion, leveraging the Netherlands' position as a key financial hub within the European Union.

The EMI license enhances YeePay's regulatory compliance and its capability to offer localized payment services to businesses operating across international markets. The company stated that its services will continue to be provided subject to applicable regulatory requirements.

Terry, Senior Vice President at YeePay, highlighted the license as a pivotal milestone for the company's European strategy. He noted that the Dutch license, alongside their existing UK EMI license, will bolster YeePay's local presence and regulated service offerings in Europe. The company aims to combine local regulatory expertise and financial infrastructure with its global payment network.

YeePay reports that its services extend to over 200 countries and regions, with real-time foreign exchange capabilities across more than 100 currencies. The company has secured various other licenses and registrations globally, including in Hong Kong, the United States, and Mexico, to support its cross-border payment solutions for international clients.
