YFORE Introduces ODMS Occupant Monitoring System

YFORE Technology, a global Tier-1 automotive supplier, has introduced its integrated "Occupant & Driver Monitoring System" (ODMS) coinciding with the official opening of its North American production facility in Georgia. The system is designed to improve vehicle safety and passenger comfort.
The new Georgia facility represents YFORE's first production site in North America. The ODMS is an integrated sensor solution that continuously monitors the state of occupants and the driver in real-time. Its capabilities include detecting the driver's alertness level, gaze direction, and potential health incidents.
Furthermore, the system can identify the presence and location of passengers, enabling optimizations for features such as seatbelt reminders and automatic airbag settings. YFORE states that the ODMS can contribute to reducing traffic accidents by enhancing driver supervision and overall passenger safety.
Deliveries of the ODMS to select automotive manufacturers have commenced, and YFORE anticipates the system's integration into future vehicle models.
