Global Tier-1 supplier YFORE Technology has officially commissioned its Suwanee, Georgia facility, focusing on the mass production of its market-validated anti-pinch sensor solutions. The plant will leverage near-shore manufacturing to deliver automotive-grade, highly responsive sensors.
These sensors are designed to enhance vehicle safety by detecting and preventing pinching incidents in doors or windows. YFORE CEO John Smith stated that the investment in Georgia supports the company's growth strategy and addresses the increasing demand for safety features within the automotive sector.
The facility is projected to employ 50 individuals during its first year of operation. The company has already secured multiple contracts with major automotive manufacturers, with full production capacity expected later this year.
YFORE supplies components globally to a range of vehicle makers, and this new facility strengthens its capacity to serve the North American market.
