Yiren Digital faces class action lawsuit over alleged disclosure failures
Law firm Robbins LLP has filed a class action against Yiren Digital, alleging the company failed to disclose financial risks linked to its controlling shareholder, CreditEase.

Law firm Robbins LLP has initiated a class action lawsuit against fintech company Yiren Digital on behalf of investors who purchased securities between April 29, 2026, and October 13, 2026. The complaint alleges that the firm misrepresented its financial health by obscuring its entanglement with controlling shareholder CreditEase.
According to the suit, Yiren Digital failed to disclose that CreditEase and its affiliates were experiencing severe financial distress, which directly threatened the billions in debt owed to Yiren. The complaint further claims that the company hid the regulatory and legal risks facing CEO Ning Tang, who was later subjected to criminal measures by Beijing authorities.
Yiren Digital’s stock price dropped significantly in October 2026 following reports of CreditEase's potential insolvency and the investigation into its leadership. Following these events, the company appointed an acting CEO. Investors wishing to serve as lead plaintiff in the litigation must contact Robbins LLP by December 28, 2026.
