YIT to handle interior and MEP works for third XTX Markets data center in Kajaani

Construction company YIT will undertake the interior fit-out, building services engineering (MEP), and commissioning for the third data center at XTX Markets' campus in Kajaani. The agreement follows the completion of the shell and core phase for the facility.

The latest phase of the project is scheduled to commence in late 2026. The contract value has not been disclosed by the parties involved. This new phase signifies continued collaboration on the Kajaani data center development.

XTX Markets aims to expand its data center capacity, and YIT's role in this expansion highlights the company's involvement in significant infrastructure projects. YIT has previously managed the construction of the shell and core for the first two data centers on the same campus.
