York Space Systems Accused of Securities Fraud in Class Action Lawsuit
A law firm representing investors has filed a securities fraud class action against York Space Systems Inc. The lawsuit alleges the company made materially false and misleading statements to investors.

Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, a law firm representing investors, has announced a federal securities class action lawsuit against York Space Systems Inc. (NYSE: YSS). The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, targets investors who purchased York common stock in connection with the company's initial public offering (IPO) in January 2026 or during the subsequent class period, which runs from January 29, 2026, to May 11, 2026.
The class action alleges that York Space Systems and its senior leadership made materially false and misleading statements and omitted material adverse facts to investors. These alleged misrepresentations and omissions concern the company's satellite software development, operational readiness, and government defense contracts. Specifically, the complaint claims that the company failed to disclose that its onboard mission and payload software was not fully functional before satellite launches and that these persistent software deficiencies jeopardized satellite operations and contractually required delivery milestones.
Furthermore, the lawsuit alleges that these operational failures presented an undisclosed, acute risk to York's multi-hundred-million-dollar contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense's Space Development Agency (SDA). As a result, the suit contends that defendants' statements regarding York's manufacturing scale, technological reliability, and commercial backlog were materially false and misleading. Hagens Berman is investigating whether York management knew about these alleged operational failures.
Investors who suffered substantial losses on their York Space Systems securities and wish to seek appointment as lead plaintiff must file a motion with the court by October 30, 2026. The firm is encouraging investors to contact them for more information regarding their legal rights and the ongoing investigation.
