York Space Systems Inc. Faces Shareholder Lawsuit Over IPO Statements

Robbins LLP, a law firm specializing in shareholder rights, has initiated a class action lawsuit on behalf of investors who purchased York Space Systems Inc. stock or securities between January 29, 2026, and May 11, 2026. The lawsuit alleges that York Space Systems misled investors about its ability to maintain a crucial contract with the U.S. Space Development Agency (SDA).

The complaint outlines that in fiscal year 2025, 96% of York Space's revenue was derived from contracts with the U.S. Federal Government, primarily through the SDA's Transport Layer program. This program is an experimental satellite constellation designed for global tactical data dissemination.

According to the lawsuit, the U.S. Space Force announced in April 2026 a restructuring of the SDA's Transport Layer program, halting payments for the third tranche. This decision significantly impacted York Space, which had anticipated substantial revenue from these payments. The complaint further alleges that the company's onboard software was not fully functional before satellite launches, posing a risk to its government contracts.

York Space's stock price declined sharply on May 11, 2026, following a report by Wolfpack Research. The report questioned the company's operational capabilities and suggested that the Pentagon's funding halt might be linked to York Space's alleged failure to meet its obligations, including launching satellites with unfinished software. Investors who experienced substantial losses during the class period are encouraged to contact Robbins LLP regarding the lead plaintiff deadline of October 30, 2026.
