Staff at Yosemite National Park and real estate investment firm Kingsbarn Realty Capital have finalized a minor land swap aimed at reducing vehicle emissions on roads leading to the park.

Lanny J. Davis, counsel for Kingsbarn Realty Capital, stated that the decision was made for environmental reasons. The land involved in the swap is located outside the park's boundaries and will not affect parklands.

Details of the land swap have not been disclosed, but it is expected to improve air quality in the vicinity of the park and potentially ease traffic flow. The parties have been working together on this matter for the past six months.

Davis emphasized that the exchange is minor in nature and its primary objective is to curb fuel consumption and pollution from vehicles entering and exiting the park.
