YouMail: Over 4.25 Billion Robocalls Received by U.S. Consumers in June
U.S. consumers received over 4.25 billion robocalls in June 2026, a 4.6% decrease year-over-year, though up 3.4% from May.

U.S. consumers received just over 4.25 billion robocalls in June 2026, according to the latest Robocall Index from YouMail, a robocall protection app. While the volume increased by 3.4% from May, it represented a 4.6% decline compared to June 2025.
The daily average for robocalls in June was 141.8 million, equating to 1,642 calls per second. Over the preceding 12 months, total robocalls reached 48.7 billion, marking the lowest 12-month figure recorded since November 2022. YouMail CEO Alex Quilici noted that monthly robocall volumes have been slowly increasing but remain significantly lower than historical levels.
"While overall robocall activity remains relatively low compared to historical levels, consumers must continue to stay vigilant and protect themselves with robocall-blocking apps like YouMail," Quilici stated. The report attributed 38% of robocalls to notifications, 15% to payment reminders, and 47% to telemarketing and scams. Despite the overall trend, consumers continue to receive approximately 2 billion unwanted robocalls monthly.
The most problematic robocall campaigns in June centered around pre-approved debt consolidation loans, notably a campaign using the name "Silver Oak Loans." These calls are characterized as potentially illegal telemarketing or deceptive scams. Consumers are advised to report such calls to platforms like YouMail to facilitate blocking and information sharing with regulatory bodies.
