YouTuber Markiplier Becomes GoPro's Largest Shareholder
YouTuber Mark Fischbach, known as Markiplier, has invested enough in GoPro to become its single largest shareholder with an 8.5 percent stake, according to reports.

YouTuber Mark Fischbach, widely known as Markiplier, has become the largest individual shareholder in camera manufacturer GoPro. Reports indicate Fischbach now holds an 8.5 percent stake in the company.
Fischbach stated that he believes GoPro is "undervalued" and views his investment as part of a broader effort to make filmmaking more accessible. This perspective follows the release of his first feature film, "Iron Lung," earlier this year.
In a recent video, Fischbach praised GoPro's new Mission 1 ILS camera, comparing it favorably to the more expensive Red Komodo-X. He announced plans to utilize the Mission 1 ILS in future film projects. The video included an affiliate link for the camera.
GoPro specializes in action cameras and related accessories, catering to both consumers and professionals in the content creation market.
