George Yang, founder and chief designer of YR Fitness, stated the goal is to simplify the complex process of opening a gym by consolidating services. The company already provides equipment sourcing, planning, delivery, and after-sales support.
With nearly 30 years of experience, YR Fitness has a strong foundation in in-house manufacturing of strength equipment. For cardio machines and accessories, the company collaborates with specialist manufacturers while maintaining oversight on product standards and responsibility. This involves rigorous supplier selection, specification adherence, testing, and final inspections.
By adding design and fit-out capabilities, YR Fitness can now offer a more complete package, encompassing gym planning, layout, customization, shipping, and support. This integration is intended to reduce the number of suppliers and coordination points for gym operators.
