Titled "Oriental Cashmere Radiance: Milan Moment," the gathering included over 100 attendees from Chinese and Italian institutions, businesses, and media.
The event focused on showcasing the development of Yulin's cashmere industry and its brands for international markets. Business matchmaking sessions and brand presentations aimed to foster collaboration between China and Italy in the fashion sector, emphasizing a shift from raw material export to brand building on a global scale.
Speakers, including Francesco Vassallo, Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan City of Milan, and Zhang Chenggang, China's Consul General in Milan, expressed support for strengthened Sino-Italian cooperation. Yulin is recognized as a major source of high-quality ecological cashmere and a significant hub for cold-weather wool apparel R&D and production in China.
Four Yulin cashmere companies—Yingguo Industry, Shaanxi Tuocheng Cashmere Industry Technology, Yulin Yanglaoda, and HBEH—presented their brands, high-end collections, and integrated production capabilities. They also signed cooperation agreements with Italian purchasing firms Casile & Casile and IWC, establishing direct access for Yulin brands to European high-end retail and distribution networks.
The event concluded with a cultural performance blending Italian and Chinese traditions. The initiative reinforces Yulin's strategy to expand international industrial cooperation and introduce its cashmere products to global markets.
