Yusen Logistics Acquires International Logistics Group
Yusen Logistics has acquired the British firm International Logistics Group (ILG). The deal integrates ILG's fulfilment capabilities into Yusen's global supply chain network.

Yusen Logistics has completed its acquisition of International Logistics Group (ILG). The partnership, effective August 1, 2018, combines ILG’s specialist fulfilment services with Yusen’s global ocean, air freight, and contract logistics operations.
Through this acquisition, ILG clients gain access to Yusen’s international network, which spans 82 locations and approximately 7 million square feet of warehouse space. The integration is designed to address rising demand in the e-commerce sector, leveraging Yusen’s expertise in customs brokerage alongside ILG’s established distribution infrastructure.
"Partnering with Yusen represents a significant opportunity for our customers and our personnel," said ILG Managing Director Mike Stephenson. Andy Fitt, Managing Director of Yusen Logistics (UK) Ltd, noted that the acquisition aligns with the firm's ongoing investment strategy within the United Kingdom.
ILG management will remain in place, with the company confirming that day-to-day operations will continue without disruption for existing clients.
