Zaggle to acquire 20% stake in Unobanc to bolster cross-border payments
Fintech SaaS firm Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services plans to invest up to ₹7.97 crore in Unobanc, a provider of digital cross-border payment infrastructure. The move aims to strengthen Zaggle's international payment and forex services.

Fintech SaaS company Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services has announced plans to invest up to ₹7.97 crore (approximately $950,000) into Unobanc Pvt Ltd, a company focused on providing technology infrastructure for digital cross-border payments and remittances in India.
The investment, to be made in cash over one or more tranches, is expected to be finalized within 90 days pending definitive agreements, according to a company exchange filing. Unobanc, established in 2019, is a subsidiary of Hop Financial Solutions and holds a full money changer license, with an in-principle approval from the Reserve Bank of India for an authorized dealer Category-II license.
This approval allows Unobanc to offer fully digital cross-border payments, remittances, and foreign exchange services. Zaggle stated that the investment will enhance its existing cross-border payment, forex, and remittance business, expanding its capacity to serve corporate and retail clients internationally.
Unobanc reported a turnover of ₹17.4 crore for the fiscal year ending March 2025, an increase from ₹15.63 crore the previous year, with a significant improvement in EBITDA. Zaggle recently reported a 30.4% rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ending March 31, 2026. The company anticipates its standalone revenue to grow by 25%-30% in FY27, with consolidated revenue projected to increase by approximately 40%.
