Zeekr and Ningbo International Circuit Host First Electric Vehicle Drift License Training
Zeekr and Ningbo International Circuit have hosted the world's first training for electric vehicle drift licenses. Fifteen participants successfully obtained national B-class drift racing licenses.

Zeekr and Ningbo International Circuit concluded the world's first training for electric vehicle drift racing licenses on August 18. The training, approved by the China Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Federation (CAMF), utilized the Zeekr 007 electric drift car as its designated training vehicle.
Over three days of systematic training and professional assessment, all 15 participants in the inaugural session passed their evaluations. This achievement marks a significant step for motorsport enthusiasts, enabling them to progress to certified professional drivers in the electric vehicle domain.
The training follows the successful completion of the world's first dedicated electric vehicle drift series, which took place in Hainan from late April to early May. That event also exclusively featured the Zeekr 007 electric race car, highlighting its capabilities under extreme conditions.
The Zeekr 007 drift car is noted for its zero-emission operation, reduced noise levels, and minimal throttle lag. Its performance in these demanding racing scenarios validates the reliability and handling prowess of Chinese new energy vehicles, offering a benchmark for electric racing technology globally.
