Zendure offers discounts to optimize solar energy use before Dutch feed-in tariff ends

Zendure has introduced discounts of up to 31% on its energy-saving products, with potential savings of up to €538 for consumers. The campaign aims to assist Dutch households in optimizing their self-consumption of solar energy as the country's energy market faces significant changes.

The initiative, announced on August 17, 2026, comes in anticipation of the end of the Dutch "salderingsregeling" (net metering) scheme on January 1, 2027. This policy has historically allowed solar panel owners to offset their electricity bills by feeding surplus power back into the grid.

With the phasing out of the net metering policy, the Dutch government is encouraging a shift towards greater direct use of self-generated solar power. This change necessitates that households find ways to store and utilize their solar energy more efficiently when it is produced.

Zendure's offering includes energy storage solutions designed to help households capture solar energy generated during the day for use during evenings or on less sunny periods. This allows consumers to reduce their reliance on grid electricity and manage their energy consumption more effectively under the new regulatory landscape.
