Zenergize Raises $4 Million for EV Charger Production Expansion

Clean tech startup Zenergize, a manufacturer of electric vehicle (EV) chargers, has secured $4 million in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Giraffe Studios. The investment will fuel the company's plans to expand its manufacturing capabilities and research and development efforts.

According to Zenergize CEO Navneet Daga, the new capital will be allocated to enhancing production capacity, scaling R&D, and expanding its sales and servicing teams across India. The company highlighted plans to focus on developing hybrid inverters, which it believes will be a key product for the market.

Founded in March 2025, Zenergize produces AC and DC chargers and solar inverters at its facility in Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh. Current monthly production stands at approximately 2,000 inverters and 30-40 chargers. The company intends to establish a new manufacturing facility in the Delhi NCR region to further boost output.

Zenergize emphasizes that its products, including printed circuit boards and power converter modules, are designed and manufactured in India, with semiconductors being the primary imported component. The startup claims an current annual run rate (ARR) of ₹35-40 crore and aims to reach ₹80-90 crore by the end of 2026.

The funding comes as India rapidly builds out its EV charging infrastructure. As of December 2025, the country had over 29,000 EV charging stations, supported by government initiatives.
