ZeroEyes Launches Harborwatch Association to Enhance School Resilience

ZeroEyes, a company specializing in threat detection technology, has announced the formation of its affiliated membership organization, Harborwatch Association LLC. The association is initially designed for K-12 schools and districts that utilize ZeroEyes' visual firearm detection systems.

The primary objective of Harborwatch is to offer eligible members access to risk management and risk financing programs aimed at addressing firearm and weapons-related threats. This initiative seeks to bolster school preparedness and resilience by connecting institutions with resources concerning threat prevention, detection technologies, and school safety best practices.

Harborwatch will also provide access to risk financing and crisis management solutions to aid members in navigating the aftermath of qualifying weapon-related incidents. These services are intended to help schools manage unforeseen expenses, including operational disruptions, crisis communications, counseling, and enhanced security measures.

ZeroEyes' core technology uses AI to analyze existing security camera feeds. Upon detecting a visible firearm, the system instantly transmits images to the ZeroEyes Operations Center (ZOC), where trained personnel verify the threat and dispatch alerts with actionable intelligence to law enforcement and school security teams.

Mike Lahiff, CEO of ZeroEyes, stated that Harborwatch aims to provide a comprehensive approach to school safety. "By bringing together risk management and risk financing resources within a single membership organization, Harborwatch will help school districts take a more comprehensive approach to firearm-related risk while supporting safer, more secure learning environments," Lahiff said.
