Zhang Xue 820X ADV Motorcycle Appears Ahead of Launch
Chinese manufacturer Zhang Xue has revealed its new 820X ADV motorcycle model. The vehicle's specifications and appearance have emerged prior to an expected September market introduction.
The Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Zhang Xue has unveiled the first images of its upcoming 820X ADV model. The motorcycle is expected to be launched at a motorcycle expo event in China this September.
Technical specifications for the model have been confirmed through filings with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The Zhang Xue 820X will be powered by an 819cc inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, producing a maximum power output of 85 kW. The vehicle measures 2320x950x1455mm with a wheelbase of 1575mm. Its top speed is rated at 220 km/h.
Visually, the 820X adopts an ADV (adventure touring) style, suitable for both road and light off-road use. It features a vertical dashboard screen, described as having smartphone-like proportions, and is equipped with a rear luggage box. A version without the luggage box will also be available.
Advanced features are anticipated, including a six-axis system and adaptive cruise control (ACC). The motorcycle's weight, excluding the rear box, is 218kg. The official market introduction is expected to coincide with the motorcycle expo scheduled from September 19th to 22nd.
