Zhang Xue Locomotive Addresses Reports of Team Theft in Italy: All Safe, One Passport Lost
Chinese IT Home reports that Zhang Xue Locomotive has responded to rumors of their team being robbed in Italy. All team members are safe, though one individual's passport was lost.
Chinese technology news outlet IT Home reported on September 28 that Zhang Xue Locomotive's official 抖音 account issued a statement addressing rumors circulating about the team being victims of theft in Italy.
The company confirmed that all team members have successfully entered Italy and are safe, with no personal safety issues. During their journey, six colleagues experienced the theft of their personal backpacks. Three of these backpacks contained only clothing and event tickets, while the other three involved the loss of personal belongings. Notably, one team member lost their passport.
Zhang Xue Locomotive has reported the incident to the authorities and contacted the Chinese Embassy in Italy. The embassy has reportedly opened a "green channel" to expedite the process of issuing a replacement passport for the affected team member.
The company stated that their overall itinerary is proceeding smoothly and urged the public not to believe or spread unverified information.
