Zhiyun Opens Internal Testing for New Lark Pocket Camera
Chinese tech firm Zhiyun has announced a recruitment plan for internal testing of its new Lark Pocket camera. The company is seeking beta testers to provide feedback and help optimize the product before its official release.

Chinese technology company Zhiyun has initiated a recruitment program for internal testing of its upcoming Lark Pocket camera. The firm is actively seeking beta testers to provide feedback and contribute to product optimization prior to its official market launch. Applications for the testing program are open until September 9.
The Lark Pocket camera features a design consistent with Zhiyun's previous compact gimbal cameras, including a flip screen that supports both horizontal and vertical shooting. The base incorporates a joystick and recording button, with the camera unit situated on top.
Zhiyun has referred to the device as a "thousand-yuan dessert machine" that returns to everyday use, suggesting an accessible price point. However, the company has not yet disclosed detailed technical specifications for the camera.
Participation in the internal testing is limited, and selected testers will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement. They are expected to complete 2-3 feedback rounds with firmware updates and submit their user experiences, bugs, and optimization suggestions in image or video format. Successful testers will have the opportunity to win a JD.com e-gift card valued at 500 yuan (approximately $70 USD).
