PLANO, Texas โ October 1, 2026 โ Zhone Technologies, Inc. announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Tellabs Access, LLC. The transaction is expected to enhance Zhone's offering in broadband, enterprise networking, and mission-critical network solutions. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The acquisition brings together two telecommunications technology companies with complementary products, customer bases, and market expertise. Zhone and Tellabs will collectively offer an expanded portfolio of fiber optic access solutions, optical LAN, enterprise networks, and carrier-grade broadband solutions. These are designed to help service providers, enterprises, and public sector clients modernize and secure their communication infrastructures.
Tellabs contributes a recognized optical LAN platform, a significant customer base, and decades of network expertise.
