The 16th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) is scheduled to be held in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, from December 7 to 13, 2026.
An announcement regarding the exhibition's preparations and highlights was made in Beijing on October 13 by the organizing committee, according to IT Home. This year's event will expand its exhibition scale and international cooperation.
The airshow will showcase new equipment from the Chinese Air Force and Navy, aiming to display the country's advancements in defense capabilities and its open approach to global aerospace collaboration.
The indoor exhibition space will cover nearly 150,000 square meters, with outdoor exhibition and support areas extending to 335,000 square meters. Over 1100 companies from nearly 50 countries are expected to participate, displaying more than 3000 items, approximately 10% of which will be new to the show.
Flight demonstrations are expected to be a significant feature, with over 170 aircraft registered, setting a new record. The Russian Knights and the UAE's Knights aerobatic teams are confirmed to perform, appearing alongside the Chinese August 1st Aerobatic Team. This marks the first time since 2016 that two foreign aerobatic teams will participate in the Zhuhai Airshow.
