Zircon Launches Magnetic Stud Finder with Integrated Marker and Level
Zircon Corporation has introduced the StudScout™, a new magnetic stud finder that combines a built-in marker and a rotating bubble level for home improvement tasks.

Campbell, Calif. – Zircon Corporation has unveiled the StudScout™, a new magnetic stud finder designed to locate studs behind drywall. The tool utilizes rare-earth magnets to detect nail heads or screws used to secure drywall to framing.
The battery-free device requires no calibration and features a triple function: detecting fasteners, marking the location with an integrated button, and aiding alignment with a rotating bubble level. A wrist lanyard is also included for convenience.
Zircon states the compact, all-in-one tool is intended to simplify tasks such as hanging pictures, mounting shelves, and installing televisions for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals.
"Zircon pioneered the stud finder category with the world's first consumer electronic StudSensor™ stud finder in 1980, and we're redefining the market again with the StudScout™ magnetic stud finder," said Bob Shortt, President, Global Sales and Marketing of Zircon Corporation.
The StudScout™ is available for a suggested retail price of $12.99 in the United States through online retailers and Zircon's website.
