Zoho-Backed Genrobotics Reports ₹2.6 Cr Profit, Eyes ₹150 Cr Series B Round
Indian robotics startup Genrobotics reported a profit after tax of ₹2.6 Cr for FY26 and is planning a ₹150 Cr Series B funding round to accelerate growth.

Robotics startup Genrobotics has posted a profit after tax of ₹2.6 Cr for the fiscal year 2026, nearly tripling its profit from the previous year. The company's operating revenue increased by 35% to ₹43.7 Cr, while EBITDA saw a 74% jump to ₹6.6 Cr.
Founded in 2017, Genrobotics designs robots for hazardous, physically demanding, or difficult tasks. Its flagship product, the Bandicoot robot, automates manhole and sewer cleaning, reducing the need for human entry into confined spaces. The company has expanded its focus beyond sanitation to include medical robotics, oil and gas, defense, and space technology.
Looking ahead to FY27, Genrobotics anticipates a more than fivefold increase in revenue, targeting ₹219.9 Cr. This projected growth is attributed to an improved product-market fit, competitive pricing, and enhanced manufacturing capabilities. The company also aims to deepen its international presence.
To support its expansion, Genrobotics is seeking ₹150 Cr in a Series B funding round. The capital will primarily be used to scale up production capacity and expand its international footprint. India's industrial robotics market is projected for significant growth in the coming years.
