Zoomlion Celebrates 34th Anniversary, Highlights Innovation and Global Growth

Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. celebrated its 34th anniversary on September 28 with global events that highlighted its progress in innovation and worldwide growth. The company, founded in Changsha in 1992, initially focused on engineering research and commercializing construction machinery.

Within its first year, Zoomlion launched its first in-house developed product, the HBT40A concrete pump, entering a market largely dominated by imported equipment. This marked the first step in building a broader product portfolio.

The company rapidly expanded its product range, offering 78 models across concrete machinery, tower cranes, and sanitation equipment by 1994. Public listings on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2000 and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2010 provided capital for further expansion and diversification.

Through acquisitions and internal development, Zoomlion broadened its operations to include foundation equipment, aerial work platforms, and mining machinery. It also enhanced its technical capabilities in areas such as control systems and hydraulics.

Today, Zoomlion's business spans the construction, mining, and agricultural machinery sectors. The company operates 11 overseas R&D and production sites, with products and services available in over 170 countries. International revenue now accounts for nearly 60% of the company's total.
