Zoomlion delivers first DX7004 hybrid tractor

Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (Zoomlion) has completed the first delivery of its DX7004 hybrid tractor to a customer during the Heilongjiang International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition in northeast China.

The 700-horsepower DX7004 tractor is designed for large-scale and intensive agricultural operations. It combines two engines to achieve a nominal power of 700 horsepower, with a maximum output potentially reaching 1,200 horsepower. Zoomlion developed the tractor's hybrid powertrain architecture, including its core components and control systems, in-house.

The company states the DX7004 offers improved fuel efficiency, reducing consumption by 10% to 40% compared to international benchmarks, and increases operational efficiency by 15%. The tractor also features digital chassis and intelligent control systems, including Zoomlion's EPiot intelligent driving system and AOS intelligent operation platform, enabling autonomous driving with centimeter-level precision.

The initial unit was delivered to a large-scale farmer in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, a major grain-producing region in China. The province's extensive and mechanized agriculture creates demand for high-power, high-efficiency equipment.

Zoomlion plans to continue investing in new energy and intelligent agricultural machinery technologies. The company aims to enhance operational and energy efficiency and promote the adoption of high-end agricultural equipment in global markets.
