ZTE Transfers Mobile Operations Account to Subsidiary Shanghai Shenqi Jiyuan
ZTE has migrated its official 'ZTE Mobile' WeChat account to a new entity, Shanghai Shenqi Jiyuan Intelligent Terminal Co., Ltd., which now oversees its mobile terminal communications.
ZTE Corporation has officially transitioned its primary mobile-focused WeChat account from its parent entity to a wholly-owned subsidiary. The account, previously known as 'ZTE Mobile,' is now operating under the name 'ZTE Terminal' and is registered to Shanghai Shenqi Jiyuan Intelligent Terminal Co., Ltd.
Public registration records indicate that Shanghai Shenqi Jiyuan is a fully owned subsidiary of ZTE Corporation, with executive leadership including Wang Xiyu as chairman and Ni Fei as a board member. The entity recently expanded its operational scope to include the development of software, mobile communication hardware, and terminal device manufacturing.
This structural shift aligns with the subsidiary's growing role in ZTE's artificial intelligence and software strategy. Earlier this year, the company's unit was registered as the developer for the 'Nubia Doubao' mobile AI model, following compliance requirements for generative AI service providers in China.
The migration process marks a centralization of ZTE's mobile terminal business under this specific subsidiary, reflecting the firm's ongoing internal reorganization of its mobile communication services.
