Zum Hosts Philadelphia Hiring Event Ahead of 2026-27 School Year

Student mobility company Zum is hosting a three-day open house hiring event in Philadelphia from July 28-30 to recruit school bus drivers and attendants.

The event is focused on filling positions for Zum's newly launched home-to-school transportation services for the School District of Philadelphia, beginning with the 2026–27 school year. On-site interviews will be conducted, with the possibility of job offers within three days.

Open positions include school bus drivers earning $30.23–$37.33 per hour and bus attendants earning $20.10–$30.00 per hour. Zum is also offering benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans, along with guaranteed daily hours and access to a fleet of modern, air-conditioned school buses.

The company utilizes technology including a driver tablet with navigation and operational tools, and a system providing real-time updates to families. Zum currently supports over 6,500 schools in 18 states with its Connected Mobility Experience platform.
