The AI Receptionist is specifically designed for veterinary practices and integrates directly with existing Practice Management Systems. This integration allows for automatic logging of calls, bookings, and messages, reducing manual data entry for clinic staff.
The company stated that unanswered calls can lead to lost clients. AI Receptionist is intended to address this by covering after-hours calls, alleviating pressure on front-desk staff during busy periods, and capturing all inquiries without increasing headcount or staff workload. VetRec suggests clinics can be operational with the service in as little as one day.
Key features of the AI Receptionist include real-time routing of urgent cases, direct appointment booking into practice systems, automatic message logging for requests like prescription refills, and call analytics. The product does not require new hardware and can be adapted to a clinic's specific protocols. It is available as a standalone product or can be combined with VetRec's AI Scribe.
